Wheels Day

On wheels day we go to ride bikes scooters and skate boards .

how to make a milk shake.

Equipment
blender, cup, tablespoon, teaspoon,  ingredients ice cream,  sugar, syrup, milk .
Steps
Step 1 pour 7 cups of milk in the blender
Step 2 pour 7 teaspoon of chocolate syrup in to the blender.
Step3 put 4 big tablespoons of  icecream  into the blender.
Step4 put 3 teaspoons of sugar into the blender.
Step 5 turn on the blender for 30 seconds. 

room 8 assembly

In term 4 it was room 8 assembly we practice until it  was Friday.  Then it was show time. I enjoyed the "We are done song' and then the airport soundscape. I was a rugby player in the soundscape. I enjoyed doing the bombs away moves in the singing.  

Term Reflection

The things I have enjoyed learning the most are: measurement- finding the area of a shape.The area is the inside surface of a shape.It is measured in square units.
Finding the perimeter- the outside length of a shape. We measure each side and add them together to get the total perimeter.

Cross Country on Friday it was cross country race day. When the teacher called up the 9 year olds I felt excited but a little bit sick in my tummy. I wanted to win.and  did win. I came first in the 9 years .  

speeches on Friday  I ha to do my speeches. I was nervous. My speech was about rugby.

Fireman rescues kitten

the fire fighter rushed into the smoke filled house. He shone his torch around the dark room to check if there were any people left in the house to rescue. He spotted an unconscious Kitten  lying on the floor. He rushed outside and got the rescue equipment. He put the oxygen mask on the kitten. The kitten stretched, shook and then meowed. The fireman hugged it.

This is a photo of me at swim safe at the Terapa pools.I liked going under the water. Chris was my swimming coach. We have to learn how to float first.

Show not tell

In Room 8 we have been learning show not tell sentences. A show not tell sentence is a sentence that has describing words. Here is a example. The car crashed on the road. I won't use the underlined words.
